Brief Introduction

1A1 Resin Bond Diamond Cylindrical Grinding Wheel for Grinding Thermal Spraying Coated Carbide

Application Machine: OD grinder;
Size: 100 mm to 1100 mm (diamond wheel outer diameter)
Mesh: For HOVF coating material grinding usage, 125-150# is the coarse grinding grain size of diamond wheel; 380-400# is the fine grinding grain size of diamond wheel;
Features: Rapid stock removal ability; high surface finish effect, reduced time and labor cost, improved grinding performance and efficiency;
Usage: This type Resin diamond wheels are mainly used for various hard alloy large workpieces, tungsten carbide thermal spraying, HVOF coating, ceramic spraying, chrome-plated metal, zirconia ceramics, alumina ceramics, silicon carbide ceramics, etc;
Grinding Type: Wet grinding is normal better recommended for grinding HVOF coating. When wet grinding, the diamond grinding wheel will not be blocked and will get a better surface finish. Meanwhile, wet grinding also helps to flush away debris residues;
Applications: Roller, hydraulic cylinder,  print cylinder, plungers, pony rods, pistons, shafts and other cylindrical parts, stabilizers, reamers, valves, couplings,sleeves, drill bits, drill heads, drill pipe, PDCs (Polycrystalline Diamond Compacts), etc.
Application Field: Aerospace, automotive, construction, oil, and mining, and downhole drilling industry;

Thermal spraying is a coating process in which melted (or heated) materials are sprayed onto a surface.
Coating materials available for thermal spraying include metals, alloys, ceramics, plastics, and composites.
High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) coating is a thermal spray coating process, which is used to improve or restore a component's surface (properties or geometry). This surface engineering technique better enables life extension of equipment by increasing erosion and wear resistance, and corrosion protection.
Because of the extreme hardness and thickness of these coating, so the grinding and finishing work needs resin bond diamond grinding wheel, which is also required to grind down to the proper shape, size, and consistency.
Grinding HVOF coated materials becomes much easier with fewer diamond wheel changes and dressings. Time and money-saving for you.
