Diamond CBN Wheels for Tormek machine are made with a precision machined Steel / Aluminum frame, and high quaility diamond powder / CBN raw material.
And the grinding wheels are coated with a single layer of diamond grit, it also has a layer of diamond on the side, which enables side sharpening. It means that diamond wheel sharpens on the flat side as well as periphery. Side sharpening is perfect for small carving tools such as carving gouges and V-tools plus plane irons, wood chisels and knives.
The wheels normally are used for sharpening steel, HSS, carbide, etc.
